Who we are
MerchantRun provides a free UK merchant locator for tradespeople. The mobile app and this website are operated by the MerchantRun project.
Website waitlist
If you join the launch waitlist on this website, your email address is currently stored locally in your browser only (via localStorage) until a proper mailing list backend is connected. No email is transmitted to our servers at this stage. When we connect a waitlist service, this policy will be updated to describe how that data is stored, used, and deleted.
Mobile app
The MerchantRun app is designed to work without an account. Merchant data is stored locally on your device. Location data is used only to show nearby merchants and is not sent to our servers unless you explicitly opt into features that require it in a future release.
Map tiles and CDN
The app may fetch map tiles and merchant data from cdn.merchantrun.co.uk. These requests include standard technical information (IP address, user agent) necessary to deliver content. Map data is sourced from OpenStreetMap and CARTO contributors; see the app for full attribution.
Cookies
This static marketing site does not set tracking cookies. If we add analytics or a waitlist backend in future, we will update this page and, where required, ask for consent.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data. Contact us at hello@merchantrun.co.uk to exercise these rights.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product launches. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
